The reason for this is that big name manufactures produce thousands of computers every month and can therefore break even more quickly. Here are some reasons these computers are less expensive:

  • They use low quality parts using the cheapest hardware they can find thus your computer now has a drastically decreased life expectancy.
  • They are assembeled autonomisly.
  • Companies pay these manufactures to put their software on your new computer, these include things like anti-viruses, games, photo gallery software, financial software, backup software, the list goes on an on.  Because of these two things these big name manufactures can manufacture a computer for next to nothing and in turn make it seem that you are getting a "GREAT DEAL".   • These companies prey on people who do not know much about computers. They offer their spec sheets knowing that people will never know how to decipher it. Think about this if a company offered you a brand new car for $1,000.  you would most likely question the quality of the car and if you did not you would certainly be wondering why it was so slow when you drove it home only to find out that once you pop the hood it has a lawn mower engine that tops out at 35mph and has no warrantee.

As we mentioned earlier the 3rd party software installed on your new computer not only allows the manufactures to offer a less expensive product but there is an ulterior motive behind this software. First of all it’s all about marketing, these companies want you use this software which will eventually lead you into purchasing it and most of it is junk. By this we mean the programs use system resources so your computer is already slowed down before you even open it. The second thing and the most alarming is that many of these programs contain spyware. They track places you visit on the internet, things you buy, what times you are on your computer, how long you are on it, other programs you use and more they then send this information back to the companies so they can "target market you" all of this happens without you knowing a thing.
