The Phoenix Symphony

Technologies Used: ASP.NET 3.5 in C#, SQL Server 2005, IIS 6

When being asked to take over web site maintenance for The Phoenix Symphony, our focus centered on ensuring that the content of the site remained current and updated. In the mean time, we have also expanded our efforts to include site optimization; separation of code, content, and design by using Themes, and establishing an organized rollout process. We have also expanded functionality to allow guests to renew season subscriptions online. While we have not redesigned the layout and design of the site, we have optimized its backend functionality, and are working on paving the way to allow for easy theme and template management.

The Mississippi Tea Party

Technologies Used: Joomla, PHP, MySQL

Our challenge was to create integrate newsletter and forum functionality into a fresh Joomla installation. We quickly identified the functional requirements and decided on implementing CommunityBuilder to tie all aspects together. ccNewsletter and Kunena provided capable components that met the functional requirements and tied into CommunityBuilder, as well.

Once we had the functionality in place, we realized that their existing template didn't work. We redesigned and expanded the functionality of the design and layout to not only be standards compliant, but also work with all components.
