About Us
Our Customer Compact
We take pride in the quality of work we deliver. This forms the basis of our company, as it gives our clients a real sense of value when receiving the final product. We have a simple value-proposition: we want to deliver a product to you, our client, that you will value. You should see value not only in the product itself, but also in the transaction between you and us. We are committed to providing value to you, in all aspects of our company.
At HengeWorks we strive to support our customers the best we can. We support The Company-Customer Pact, which underscores these core values. Please take a moment to read through this compact, and share your thoughts, if you have a few moments.
All About HengeWorks
We consider our company to be a family. We recognize that going to work each day for 8 or more hours means that you live closely with your co-workers, and we consider our co-workers as a second family away from home. This is an atmosphere we wish to foster, and as such provide our co-workers with real ownership in the company through input in all aspects of the company, providing company shares (true profit sharing), and encouraging people to speak their mind and give their opinion. We recognize that each team member contributes to the success of the company, and as such, should have a voice in it. Our goal is to provide a company where everyone works for one-another, not for “the man” running the company, and to create a company culture where people want to work and look forward to each new day.
We also recognize that HengeWorks is a vital part of the local community; we need to conduct business accordingly. This means that we will hire locally first, contract locally first, and buy locally first. Additionally, we understand that each community faces a set of unique local challenges. We would like to contribute our services to help overcome these challenges and improve our community for the following generations.
Another, perhaps not so common characteristic of HengeWorks is that we respect individual rights above all else. If we recognize that something will infringe on another party’s rights or freedom, we will go out of our way to either avoid or rectify the situation. We are all individuals, regardless if we work for a company, work at home, on the ranch, or in the grocery market. We all deserve to be treated as such.
We believe that technology is neutral in moral or ethical value. The moral dilemma and ethical questions rest on those taking advantage of technology in how they apply it. HengeWorks is dedicated to using technology to improve the lives we affect.
Jim Deavel
Interested in the development of computer hardware, Jim studied Electronics Engineering in college. He has worked over a 12 year period as a Service Technician, Network Administrator, IT Director, and Computer and Networking Consultant, focusing on the hardware needs of clients.
His experience includes setting up and automating networks, computer services and communications for small businesses, centralizing management of existing computer services and resources, implementing backup and disaster recovery systems and policies for larger small businesses, as well as cost-benefit analyses of existing and proposed systems in order to cut costs and expand services. As a Director he was required to establish and promote company-wide policies regarding computer use and security.
At HengeWorks, Jim is responsible for all the technology needs of the company: managing the network, servers and workstations, and providing reliable systems for our internal team, as well as clients.
